A Winters Tale

All you need is a beautiful day and a trip to the city and you are pretty much sorted. So that's is exactly what we decided to do today.

Yes I am going to mention this again, but the weather is fantastic. We had a few rough days last week (well it rained a bit) but when you have days like today you soon forget about those!

So we wandered the harbour front, stopping off for obligatory drinks at Kaffee Eis; Latte for Michael and gorgeous hot chocolates for me and little miss Bethany.

The whole of the waterfront is just beautiful, I have taken so many pictures here but I still find myself taking more. I find everything just amazingly stunning, the glittering and glints of sunlight on the ocean is a lovely sight.

As always Bethany must stop off at Frank Kitts Park for some child friendly fun, and with drink in hand she certainly looked older than 3 today!

We were kindly given some cinema tickets for Christmas and thought it was probably time we used them, so we booked ourselves in to see Shrek The Third.

It was really good and despite Bethany now taking over custody of my flu she did really well, more than likely though it was the popcorn and maltesers that got her through!

We finished our day with tea at The Hogs Breath, but due to eating too much popcorn we only had starters, and with Bethany not eating, well it was one cheap meal! Oh but we did have room for a wine and beer, it was only polite.

The difference the weather can make is amazing, I just love the crisp clear sunny days where nothing else matters except each, and enjoying the wonderful world we now live in.
