Footprints In The Sand...

Wellington is an amazing coastal delight, we are spoilt by the most amazing views, realistically being able to see the ocean on the way to the supermarket is fantastic isn't it?!

Today we took a 10 minute drive around 'the corner' to a place called Breaker Bay. Its a gorgeous secluded beach with the most amazing views and a lovely little hole in the rock.

We just love Wellington by dusk and so we decided to spend the last few hours of sun down at Breaker Bay. We played, ran, played 'snake races' and had the most fun rock climbing!

The best thing about NZ is the different people, so many cultures and so much to learn from each one of them. This guy lives in his car by Breaker Bay, off he went into the sunset with a torch and a bucket...would love to know his life story...

Breaker Bay is right on the harbour mouth and so there was a lot of traffic whilst we were there!

There is nothing more perfect than a gorgeous afternoon in lovely weather, beautiful surroundings and listening to the ocean whilst watching the sun go down. Perfection.

On the way back from the beach we stopped off to take in the phenomenal view that Houghton Bay offers. It looks over to the South Island, and at sunset the surfers light up the ocean.

Just like footprints in the sand, each step creates a memory.

Our memories will walk the beach forever.
