There's no shortage of places in Wellington to chill and take in some sights. There's Wrights Hill Reserve, The Wind Turbine and of course Mount Vic Lookout. When you get up Mount Vic, you get to see the city, the harbour and the airport. On a good day, you get 360 degree views of it all.
We've only ever seen these places in daylight, so as the nights get dark early, it seemed like an ideal opportunity to check out the views at night, without interupting a certain madams sleeping patterns!
