Our weekends are very precious to us, its our family time and we always make the most of it. This weekend we decided to get 'at one' with nature.
Saturday the day was glorious, the weather was absolutely perfect. On these perfect days the sunsets are amazing and the view to the South Island is breath taking. We took a walk to 'our' beach and watched the sunset over the mountains of the South Island, it was perfect. 
Sunday we packed up the car and headed to Princess Bay. This is one of our favourite little beaches as this is where we had our very special Christmas Day breakfast!
Out went the picnic blankets, out came the beer and the BBQ was fired up. Bethany played in the sea and sand and we enjoyed a gorgeous dinner.
Wellington is such a gorgeous place with so much beauty right on our doorstep, thus making some beautiful times...
