Well it had to happen finally. The BBQ has spent the last 3 months under cover and we've spent that time cooking indoors, staring at the George Foreman grill thinking that there is more to life than this. Having spent 2 hours making sure the metal was hygienic, there was no way I was going to be told to cook inside the house, even if it was 12 degrees C and I could see my own breath!
It wasn't a huge affair, a few sausages and some chicken & beef kebabs where as audacious as we got - but to me it marks the start of BBQ season.
There is something about the whole 'cooking outdoors' thing that makes everything taste better. And what better place to have a BBQ than on the decking with awesome views?
Bring on the sun!
