With Marrisa out on the town on Saturday night, I took Bethany to Lanes, a 10 pin bowling place in Wellington. Bethany has never been actual bowling before, as I think Wii Bowling just doesn't count.
I helped Bethany line the first 2 goes up with the ramp, then she insisted she control everything from then on. She chose random balls depending on whatever colour of the rainbow she thought of, although the pink and yellow ones seemed to be the most popular.
After taking it easy on me in the first game, Bethany stepped up the heat in the second. 
My mam will remember the first time she took me bowling, and my first throw was a strike. I think some of the 'lucky' genes have certainly passed to Bethany!
