Farewell...

It's been a sad night, Grandad has left to return home to the UK...

Difficult clock watching. Sad silent moments. Awkward eye contact. Difficult questions from Bethany. Long drive to the airport. Emotional farewell drinks. Strong tight cuddles. Tears. Heart broken tears.

The excitement from having family here never eases, but the pain from having to let them go will always be there and will always consume. An update to follow on the last few days, but for tonight we raise our glasses to having the chance to create some fantastically amazing memories with Grandad Dawes...
