Onboard Entertainment

Every Tuesday Marrisa comes into Wellington to take Denver to training classes. As it doesn't start until 6pm, Bethany gets dropped off with me around 5pm and we head home on the train. Over the last few weeks we've been doing this, Bethany usually fills the 30 minute train ride with questions about what I've been doing today. Now though, questions and conversation has gone out of the window and all she wants is music!

Bethany loves music like any kid her age, and can't get enough of the likes of the Lion King and other audio books we have. Her favourite however is the Spongebob Squarepants CD. It's been played so many times in the car it's probably worn down the disk. Not to worry, we converted it to mp3 so she'd never be without it... even on the train!

Two weeks ago there were two women sat in front of us that obviously didn't have kids. They didn't really appreciate the high level of singing from the seat behind on a packed commuter, but I think helped matters positively by encouraging it song after song, until they eventually got off at the next station!

I'm proud of my little singing superstar, even if it's slightly off-key!
