It's Showtime!

Wellington weather treated us well tonight as we managed to enjoy a beautiful moonlit walk to our venue for this evening: The Weber Bros Circus!!

Excitement at every turn as we entered the huge tent filled with twirling lights and enticing music. When I booked the tickets I was lucky enough to be able to get VIP front row seats, and I must say it was worth the extra dollars as we were right in the action.

Bethany of course just had to have a pink swirly wand thing that flashes, and she just had to have some candy floss, and just had to have some sweets that I took too - who am I to argue with an over excited 4 year old!?

The show was utterly amazing. There were acrobatic acts of flying through the air, lifting and throwing each other, spinning tables with legs and doing all sorts of cringingly worrying yet awesome stuff!

In between the action they filled the time with various slap stick routines which although they were a little pantomime, they were still hilarious moments. Bethany enjoyed herself and was overwhelmed by the big horse they used in the show (even managing a little cry when she wasn't picked from the audience to ride it, she didn't understand it was all a set up!).

Taking a break we headed outside and had some refreshments and Bethany went wild in the tea cup ride!

Back inside the second half started and again we were treated with some amazing effects and brilliant routines.

The absolute show stopper which also nearly stopped my heart was the Globe Of Death. It started with just one bike whizzing round inside, then another joined, then they put a lady inside and THEN they added another bike - my heart was in my mouth, it was utterly mind blowing and a fantastic finale to the most wonderful circus show.

Such an amazing night, we got everything and more we could have wished for from the fantastic show - a truly amazing experience.
