At the weekend Michael went out on his motorbike with a buddy and was treated to a ride along some dramatic coastline views, views we didn't even know existed despite driving past the lookout point many times!
About 30 minutes away from here is the delightful scenery of Kapiti Coast, and if you can get up high the views can be utterly stunning. So Michael took Bethany and I for a surprise drive, he knows how much I love awesome views and so we were all excited when we arrived.
A little ride up Paikakariki Hill and we were greeted with all that can be described as breathtaking sweeping views of Paraparaumu beach and onto Kapiti Island which is perched out in the ocean.
We stood for a while in awe, being able to have these amazing places by us is the most magical lift anyone could ever need, don't think it can get better than this really...
