Almost There...

On Monday, at 10.30am, our stuff will be DELIVERED!!!!!!!!

It's made it - and what a trip it has taken. It started out on the 28th September being packed up in Norton onto the back of a van, it was then transported to Southampton where it was shipped to Singapore. Then onto Auckland and finally it was unloaded onto a train bound for Wellington - arriving 28th December!!!

Of course we have had a little wait whilst its been taken off the train and checked by customs. Then a bit of a longer wait whilst the Christmas and New Year holidays happened, but the result was perfect - completely cleared by Customs and MAF!!!

Of course we have yet to check it's all OK and there are no damages but it's made it this far and that in itself is amazing. For me it's more than just 'our stuff'. It's an identity, it's a past, it's photos of family and friends, personal belongings, things we have had for many years, and memories.

A new house and a new start with all our things, perfect.
